Fact-finding

Driven by a passion for establishing the truth, PSG undertakes fact-finding tasks. These fact-finding activities contribute to a fair legal process and play a decisive role in settling disputes. This type of investigation can be performed in the framework of various jurisdictions. Following initial notifications about a possible breach of integrity, PSG will formulate an approach consisting of a balanced investigation and concrete action plan.

The scope of the investigation is precisely defined so that it is neither too broad nor too limited. We consult with you to determine which data need to be secured and analysed.

Our clients receive a digital report of all supporting material that provides all of the data relevant to the investigation. The fact-finding process results in a neutral, objective investigation result.

Second opinions

If you need a second opinion, PSG can also help. On behalf of lawyers, we regularly assess case documents or statements filed by an opposing party. We review the underlying evidence in terms of completeness and accuracy of interpretation, and weigh up the facts obtained against alternative scenarios. PSG uses its countercheck expertise in instances such as Article 12 Criminal proceedings, and have demonstrably made a difference in past cases.

Employment law

In the event that unacceptable employee behaviour is suspected, PSG may investigate to establish facts that either support or disprove these suspicions. This type of investigation could entail theft or embezzlement, threats, acceptance of bribes, misuse of company assets, leaking confidential or personal data, or influencing processes that adversely affect business continuity.

If we cannot answer an investigation question within the legal frameworks, we will not carry out the investigation.
